In 1932, the Miramonti boutique hotel opened its doors for the first time as a guesthouse. Sporting just three rooms, the main draw was the incredible view of the city of Merano from the panoramic terrace.

Another way to traverse the ancient forests is on the back of a Hafling horse, accompanied by your guide and fuelled by a quick stop for a private breakfast set up in the middle of the forest – provided by the hotel.
